We’ll be there to document the day as it naturally unfolds, offering gentle guidance when needed and stepping back when it matters most. From the big, emotional moments to the quiet in-betweens, you can relax knowing your story is being captured thoughtfully, beautifully, and with care from start to finish.

Delivery of services
After your wedding day, we carefully curate and edit your images to reflect the true feel of your celebration. Your final gallery will be delivered online, making it easy to relive every moment, share with loved ones, and download your images. From start to finish, our goal is to provide a seamless, thoughtful experience and a collection of photographs you’ll treasure for years to come.

Once you’re booked, we’ll send a short, easy questionnaire to help us get a basic idea of your plans and what’s most important to you. Then, a couple of months before the wedding, we’ll reach out again to talk through your timeline and make sure everything is flowing smoothly. We also love recommending engagement sessions—not just to help you get comfortable in front of the camera, but so we can connect, learn your personalities, and start building that natural, easy trust before your big day.

We’re based in Abingdon, Virginia and happily travel wherever your love story takes us. From local celebrations in Southwest Virginia/East Tennessee to weddings across the U.S. and worldwide, we’re always up for the adventure. Travel details and any applicable fees will be discussed upfront so everything is clear and stress-free.
We recommend booking as soon as you have your date secured. For weddings, most couples book 9–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates. For regular sessions—such as engagements, couples, or family sessions—booking 1–3 months ahead is usually ideal. If your timeline is shorter, feel free to reach out and we’ll always do our best to accommodate you. Weekends are always the first to fill and go quickly.
Yes—every image you receive is professionally edited. We carefully cull and refine your gallery so each photo reflects our style and meets our quality standards. Weather can play a part in the editing as well, (sunny, cloudy, foggy, etc). We don’t deliver unedited or RAW images, ensuring your final collection is cohesive, polished, and true to your day.
Yes, we do! We offer flexible payment plans to help make the investment more manageable. A retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance being due one month before the wedding. We would be happy to split the remainder into scheduled payments leading up to your wedding. We’re happy to customize a plan that works best for you. For regular sessions, we also require a deposit and the remaining balance is due the day of the session.
Our turnaround time varies depending on the type of session. For weddings, galleries are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks. For engagement and regular sessions, you can expect your gallery within 2–3 weeks. We take great care in editing each image thoughtfully to ensure your final gallery is worth the wait.
Booking is simple! To officially reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer. Once both are completed, your date is secured on our calendar and we’ll begin planning your experience. All booking details, payments, and paperwork are handled online for a smooth and stress-free process.
Absolutely! We love when our couples share their photos on social media. You’re welcome to post and share your images freely for personal use—just please be sure to credit Hollandsworth Photography when you do. It means the world to us and helps support our small business.
