A Guide to Eloping in Rocky Mountain National Park

Easily get Married: Also, eloping in Colorado is so easy. You can obtain your online Marriage Certificate online here for just $30. Just get it 35 days before you plan on eloping!  Make an appointment to finish the process and have it returned within 63 days of the ceremony! All of this information, and more, can be located here. You can even Self-Solemnize in Colorado meaning you do not have to have an officiant! That information can be located in the above links as well.

Obtain a Permit to get Married in RMNP

You can easily obtain a Special Use Permit for a ceremony at a certain location. There is an application fee of $300 and you can submit your request within one calendar year of your planned ceremony. You can get the information on how to do that here.

Ceremony Locations Inside RMNP

All information has been gathered from the Rocky Mountain National Park Service Website. Also, each ceremony location might have restrictions on when you can have your ceremony as well as how many cards can be present. Make sure you do your reach on this before scheduling your ceremony date and location.

Copeland Lake (Wild Basin Area): Located 13 miles from Beaver Meadows Center. Features a lake and mountain views. Photo here.

Harbison Meadow Picnic Area (West Side near Grand Lake): Located on the west side of the park, adjacent to Trail Ridge Road. Features large meadow and mountain views. Photo here.

Hidden Valley: Located 6 miles from Beaver Meadows Center. Features Aspen’s and wildflowers. Photo here.

Lily Lake Dock, Trail and Southside Picnic Area: Located 6.4 miles from Beaver Meadows Center. Features mountain views and lake. Photo here.
